Halo
A halo is a vest with an attached ring that goes in front of the blind dog's face to protect them when they bump into walls and furniture. Ramps
Indoor ramps are used to help pets with mobility issues get on and off furniture, up and down stairs, and in and out of the car. Ramps help prevent orthopedic injury in older dogs, small dogs, and dogs with joint and back issues who should not be jumping on and off furniture or in and out of cars. Small dogs can be lifted on furniture and the car but they shouldn't be allowed to jump off. And ramps help larger dogs that are too heavy to lift get in and out of cars and on and off furniture.
Outdoor ramps are useful to help dogs get up and down stairs, allowing them to move in and out of the house. Carrying larger dogs is not an option for most. Ramps give dogs access to the outside which can be life changing and life saving for many.
Doggo Ramps is a very popular high quality product with many models to choose from.
Major online pet supply stores like Petco and Chewy also have a nice selection of ramps for use indoors and out to help pets get on and off the furniture as well as in and out of the car.
Custom ramps can be built for outdoor use which is especially important to replace the use of stairs for older immobile pets. Consider the size of your pet, the size and weight of the ramp, and how you plan to use it and store it.
